Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We are providing you with free at-home access to our online learning programs ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ while your child’s school is closed. These research-based educational programs include thousands of digital learning activities, and they can help preschool, pre-k, elementary, and middle school students keep learning while schools are closed. All three programs can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and you can add up to three children per account!

ABC Mouse

Free Home Access for Students to ABCmouse, Adventure Academy & ReadingIQ During School Closures

 Early Learning Academy is the leading and most comprehensive digital early learning resource for students in preschool through 2nd grade. ABCmouse offers a research-validated curriculum with more than 10,000 individual Learning Activities and more than 850 complete lessons along our Step-by-Step Learning Path. ABCmouse includes a significant amount of Spanish language content.

 

Adventure Academy is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) for students in  3rd through 8th grade. Adventure Academy brings learning to life as it builds critical knowledge of essential curriculum topics with thousands of learning activities in language arts, math, science, and social studies in a safe and engaging virtual world.

ReadingIQ is an advanced digital library and literacy platform for children through 6th grade that provides access to thousands of high-quality books, all curated by experts to advance literacy. ReadingIQ includes many books in Spanish, and an offline mode that does not require continuous Internet connectivity.

Spectrum

If you do not currently have internet access at home, Spectrum is offering free broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 or college students who do not currently have service. It starts today and will be available for 60 days. You must call 1-844-488-8395 to enroll. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

Optimun

Altice internet providers Suddenlink and Optimum are offering 60 days of free internet service for households with k-12 or college students.  Internet speed are up to 30 Mbps if you do not already have access to a home internet plan.  To sign up, call 1-866-200-9522 if you live in an area with Optimum internet  service, or call 1-888-633-0030 if you live in area with Suddenlink internet service.  

At&T

AT&T is offering 60 days of free public service and is lifting its unlimited data caps for cell phone subscribers for at least 60 days. They will not terminate the service (home phone, broadband or small business customer due to the inability to pay caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. If you are unable to pay your bill, AT&T asks that customers call 800-288-2020.
